Mario's Trips

Avezzano, Abruzzo

To Avezzano

I believe of all of my ancestors who migrated from Italy to the United States, I only had one who went back to visit. My grand-uncle, Mario Spallone, made several trips with his wife, Rosalie, back to his home town, Avezzano.

Shown here are photos that Mario took during several visits to Italy of his sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews, most whom I have never met. The captions under the photographs are what was written on the back of the photo.
